Silver Mountain luxury resort to be built

Silver Mountain, the first mountain luxury resort in Romania, will be built for a total investment of EUR 400 million, said a statement issued by the Colliers International real estate company, the exclusive sales agent.
The project that was started in Poiana Brasov through INR Management Real Estate, the developing company, consists of apartments and exclusive villas in Poiana Brasov, 2 km from the ski slopes and 15 km from Brasov.
Colliers said that the project is not open to massive sales to investors.
The developer has planned to create a resort-type centre in which the residents would spend their free time with family and friends, not solely to buy for investment purposes.
The construction work has already started. The first stage of development, consisting of 100 flats, will be finalized in the winter of 2008 while the entire project will be developed within 5 to 6 years period.
The developer has recently signed a contract with Rezidor, one of the top five hotel companies in the world with a portfolio of 5 types of hotels throughout the world. A Radisson SAS hotel with a total capacity of 184 rooms would also operate in the Silver Mountain resort.
Another facility offered by Silver Mountain would consist of a heliport, with the customers having the possibility of renting a helicopter 24 hours a day.
