BNP Paribas enters Romanian real estate market
11 February 2008
The real estate division of French group BNP Paribas is interested in expanding to Eastern Europe, and is negotiating a partnership with Cornerstone International, a Romanian company which operates under a CB Richard Ellis license. According to sources from the real estate market, Atisreal, BNP Paribas’ real estate division, has already signed a contract with Cornerstone.
“For now, we can say that we are interested in expanding to Eastern Europe, to Romania, Bulgaria or Russia. It is premature to offer any further information,” Lausane Loreaux, Atisreal representative told Business Standard.
Atisreal is one of the most important real estate companies in Europe, with 60 offices in Europe, the United States and Asia.
