Real estate prices to rise for another four years

15 February 2008

“One year after the integration, the real estate market evolves favourably, as expected. But there is a very big demand for dwellings, and this is the main engine of the market,” General Manager of Hercesa branch from Romania, Alejandro Solano Gallego stated for media. Hercesa Romania manager considers that the prices will continue to grow in the next four years.

“The new flats will continue to be in the highest demand, especially that they present major advantages in comparison with the old ones: better infrastructure, larger spaces, modern design, and efficient installations,” he added.

Presently Hercesa prepares to launch two new projects. The first project is in Orhideelor area and will consist of 800 dwellings, the second residential project will have 3,000 flats and will be located in Ghencea.

“In the meantime we prepare to rehabilitate Cismigiu Hotel. We believe that the works will start in June, even if there are still many technical complications,” said Solano.

The Spanish company Hercesa Immobiliaria already builds in Costin Georgian area 1,400 flats with two, three and four bedrooms, through an investment of EUR 200 million.
