Israeli Mentor Group to invest EUR 150 million in residential projects

24 January 2008

Mentor Group Holdings, company owned by Israeli businessman Alon Peled, will invest EUR 150 million to develop residential projects in Bucharest and around the country.

'We have been active for four years now in Eastern Europe, and especially in Romania. During this time we founded, launched and developed several real estate companies,'' said Peled, General Manager of Mentor Group Holdings.

The company intends to develop mainly residential projects in major cities and divulged that, following rigorous market research, it will focus on the luxury residential market.

''Our strategy involves using all the expertise we have gained in various real estate sectors: analysis and market research, the capacity to identify and localize the best pieces of land and the most attractive offers directly from the seller, and the ability to promote the launching of activities,'' Peled added.
