New apartment prices could rise 10% by the end year

21 July 2008

Prices of new apartments are estimated to rise by up to 10% by the end of the year, while prices of old apartments are expected to keep dropping by up to 10%, real estate company Esop Consulting said.

''Prices of old apartments in Bucharest began decreasing at the beginning of year. The situation is similar elsewhere in Romania, with prices for old apartments dropping and those of new apartments poised to increase,'' Esop Consulting Partner Irina Petrescu said.
