Niro Tower project to begin in 2009, investment at EUR 70 million

Beijing Urban Construction Engineering & Niro will start building Niro Tower at the beginning of March 2009, with the investment estimated at EUR 70 million, the company said. Niro Tower will be a real estate project on the Exhibition Boulevard, including a four-star hotel and apartments and is expected to be completed by 2011.
''The company will fund most of the investment, but will apply for bank loans as well,'' the PR Manager of Niro Investment, Ion Badea said.
Niro Investment Group has developed the central Residential Park project, the first real estate project in the centre of Bucharest and next year it will inaugurate Boulevard Hotel, one of the Capital's historical monuments.
Beijing Urban Construction Engineering & Niro was created after Niro Investment Group signed a partnership with one of China’s most prestigious construction companies, in order to co-operate in major construction projects in Romania and Southeastern Europe.
